SLR EM Journal Club
Journal Club meets once a month. Half of the journal clubs are hosted at an attending home on Monday nights from 7:30-10 pm and half are held during the regular Wednesday conference.
There is a structured Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) curriculum, prepared and taught by David Newman, MD, Director of Clinical Research. The main emphasis is on understanding key EBM concepts which then allow residents to critically evaluate literature, both now and for the rest of their professional lives.
